Access to the new AWT member area from 2020:

• Identify new developments and technologies with benefits for the field of heat treatment and materials science. Impulses should also be sought from interdisciplinary applications.
  
  
• Evaluating social and political trends for development potential for new technologies.
  (e.g. digitalization and artificial intelligence for optimizing processes in heat treatment).
  
  
• Provide gained knowledge in the technical committees of the AWT.
