Goals and Objectives:
- Determination of the "heat treatment-structure-properties" correlation
- Determination of the cooling capacity of liquid and gaseous quenchants and different quenching methods
- Optimization of heat treatment
- Improvement of joint properties by heat treatment
- Development of joining technologies for hybrid joints
The lightweight materials and copper materials working groups are working on further issues.
